Lead generation campaign for CCE

Hot on the heels of our redesign of CCE's downloadable collateral, is a brand new lead generation campaign, promoting the company's 'Out of Hours Support' and 'Hardware Support' services.

HTML email templates were created to drive traffic through to custom 'landing pages' on the website, to encourage visitors to connect with the company's offerings in full.

CCE's telemarketeers were able follow up with 'warm calls' within 36 hours of the campaign release, to make appointments for their external sales teams.

Journalists sit up and take notice…

VOICE is one of the UK's leading PR agencies operating in the drinks sector. One of the London-based agency's clients is VINEXPO, a leading industry event held in Bordeaux every second year.

VOICE's brief is to promote VINEXPO to the UK drinks press in the run up to the event, via press releases but also with a newsletter which had previously been emailed to journalists as an attachment.

To increase efficiency and create more engaging communication with journalists, it was decided to produce the newsletter as a web page. Clausen Communications produced the newsletter, promoted by a series of HTML emails with a click through to the page, which was hosted on VINEXPO's server.

Apart from the obvious advantages of having better acceptability over attachments, the new system provided in depth analytics enabling VOICE to determine who had (or hadn't) opened the emails and who had clicked through. Other key benefits were that the mailing list was automatically cleaned with unsubscribes.

Regular press releases were also emailed to the journalist database during the event itself using the HTML email system.

Pebble Beach Systems graphical user interface (GUI) & icon design

Pebble Beach develops and supplies leading edge broadcast automation and media management solutions. Recommended by one of its technology partners, we were briefed to design the user interface for its new Marina system. A key driver was to provide a major differentiator from the widespread blue/grey look, for an enhanced user experience. We had to work within very tight technical parameters to allow for many diverse customer environments.

The client's use of Qt style sheets enabled us to style the skins and widgets safe in the knowledge that they would be able to build everything in this framework. We designed and produced over 200 icons as SVG files – which scale with no loss of quality – to accommodate different broadcasters' monitors. Many featured up to eight different states, eg. active on, active off, normal on, normal off, disabled on, disabled off, selected on, selected off.

Pebble Beach now offers a unique graphical interface, ideal in low ambient light conditions, which enhances the user experience and aids increased productivity. We also produced the imagery for use on the client's website and marketing collateral

The Wharf Restaurant & Bar online marketing

The Wharf Restaurant & Bar is a superb venue in Teddington for dining and special functions. The Wharf already had a website but the owners felt that it didn't express their unique riverside location and ambiance – either visually or verbally. They also wanted their website to work harder in marketing terms.

We designed and built a site which not only reflects The Wharf's unique dining experience, but also provides an interface between the site's contact form and the restaurant's mailing database, triggering newsletters, birthday congratulations etc. Naturally, the linked marketing email system complies with best practice in terms of double opt-in and other anti-spamming requirements.

The Wharf is now proud of its website, which perfectly echoes the venue itself. The mailing list is growing steadily and when regular e-newsletters are mailed, click throughs to the site typically double in number.

Pebble Beach Systems marketing collateral

As well as designing the look and feel of an intuitive new graphic interface for their ground breaking Marina product, we also produce product logos, data sheets and other marketing collateral.

Recently, we were commissioned to design a simple graphic device to celebrate Pebble Beach's tenth anniversary. Continuing the theme of the company's iconic and fun bucket and spade branding, '10 years at the beach' is featured on the website and all communications materials for the duration of 2010 / 2011.

eDigitalResearch rebranding

DigitalResearch is a leading UK provider of online research and insight, including website mystery shopping, benchmarking surveys and Web2.0 communities. Having recently refreshed the company's branding which was applied to everything from stationery to racing yacht sails, we were recently briefed to produce a new suite of marketing collateral.

We designed a new, highly contemporary look and feel which reflects the changing face of eCommerce and leads the reader on a structured journey around the collateral. This was applied when refreshing existing solution leaflets and case studies and producing a number of new ones. We produce all of eDigitalResearch's marketing copy content, which involves an in-depth understanding of its business and market space.

eDigitalResearch's new product brochures, case studies, newsletters, advertisements and exhibition graphics– all designed by ourselves – present a much more contemporary look and feel to reflect the company's positioning as a technology leader and reinforce its brand values. The new work has been favourably commented on by a number of its clients who include some of the UK's leading retail, finance, travel and utilities businesses.

Fusion by Explore Living branding

Explore Living is the award-winning housebuilding division of construction giant Laing O'Rourke. When the company began planning Fusion – its landmark development in Chertsey, Surrey, we were commissioned to produce branding together with sales collateral, direct mail and outdoor display material.

The brand identity and marketing material, not least the traffic-stopping hoardings around the site, were designed to highlight and complement the development's stunning contemporary design, high build quality and excellent specification – made a considerable contribution to the success of the development.

Top level presentation graphics for
Spanish Broadcast Technology Leader

Malaga-based Tedial is a global player in the broadcast automation industry. Impressed by our work for other clients in the sector, Tedial asked us to look at simplifying its top-level graphics used in sales presentations and at exhibitions.

Utilising elements already existing in Tedial's brand toolkit, we literally thought 'out of the box'. We devised this simple-to-understand graphical representation of Tedial's comprehensive content management, storage and processing capability, depicting how its products and technologies interact and integrate with other parts of the broadcast and production chain. The graphic now forms a central element of how Tedial presents its proposition to new customers and partners.

We have also been briefed on designing and producing product logos and icons for use on Tedial's graphic interfaces.

Affordable branding for start-up

Letbyliz.com is a start-up offering short-term serviced accommodation as an option to staying in hotels. We were asked to produce a brand identity which could be used across a number of communication channels, and a magazine website to attract interest and effectively showcase the company's individual properties.

We created a distinctive brand identity using a palette of strong primary colours, accompanied by a strapline which describes exactly and succinctly what the business does. The identity was rolled out across stationery as well as 'to let' boards, estate agents' windows and flyers, all featuring hard-hitting messaging designed to drive traffic to the website. The primary colours pervade throughout, reinforcing the letbyliz.com brand.

The website deliberately contains a minimal number of pages, intended to provide focus on key messages. It simply explains the concept of short-term serviced accommodation, lists the options and provides a thumbnailed gallery of properties available.

All of the above elements, together with effective search engine optimisation, have combined to drive quality traffic to the website. Our design and website strategy has delivered results that considerably exceed the client's expectations, to the point that they are continually inundated with leads.

IPV Curator multi-channel campaign

Curator is an innovative, scalable web-based workflow solution for broadcasters produced by long standing Clausen Communications client IPV.

Deploying Curator solves many of the traditional issues faced by broadcasters and production houses competing in the digital age, so when we were briefed by IPV to create a new campaign, we gave the product its own personality in the form of 'Captain Curator', a cartoon superhero.

The Captain became the product's chief identity across a number of channels including online and offline media, the IPV website and its presence at two global industry exhibitions. The character was cleverly used to replay typical customer 'pain' scenarios where Curator provides the solution.
