The Brief
IPV's Curator media workflow solution is designed to deliver efficient usage of media, flexible workflows and rapid turnaround of live, in-production and archived content in the broadcast and video production sector. We were tasked with designing a completely original look and feel for its user interface and icon sets.
The Solution
Working closely with the company's software development team, we were able to create the skins, widgets and icon sets, often exceeding their expectations. We have designed and produced over 160 icons to date to the desired technical specification. As many of the icons needed to be grouped, we also introduced a uniform, but flexible button style, many of which featured up to four different interactive states, eg. active, normal, selected and disabled.
The Result
Within the sector, Curator has a unique user interface, which continues to turn heads with its refreshing, intuitive graphics and icon family. This has lead to further work from other IPV technology partners. We also continue to produce the client’s website and marketing collateral.
